Hospitality is a hallmark of healthy community.  The people of St. John’s truly enjoy each other’s company and welcome those who visit to join in.

A wonderful and lively group offers hospitality within the congregation, hosting parties and events throughout the year. We’d love to have your help! A small contribution of your time goes a long way toward providing a hospitable, welcoming environment for all.  Contact: Mary Corlett.

A great group of men share the responsibility of overseeing coffee hour for Sunday services. We support those who sign-up to make and serve coffee and bring treats for the weekly social gathering of the church. We’d love to have you join us! No experience is necessary; we’ll show you the steps. Contact: Mary Corlett.

Hospitality at St. John’s starts at the door and extends well beyond the end of the service. Greet and Connect ministry members greet everyone warmly in the hallways prior to the service. They help visitors find their way on Sundays–to the sanctuary, to childcare or Sunday School, to the Coffee Hour–and follow up during the week with those interested in learning more. Contact: Elizabeth Moe or Sonia Toomey.
