2027 Pledge Campaign

Dear St. John’s community,

At St. John’s, we are part of something larger than ourselves. We gather to worship, to learn, to celebrate, to ask hard questions, to care for one another, and to reach out beyond our walls. In all of these things, we are continually enriching, growing, and serving—together.

Enriching. Growing. Serving. These three words describe much of what makes St. John’s a vibrant community of faith.

We are enriching one another’s lives through shared conversations and community, worship, music, learning, prayer, and the simple gift of showing up for one another. We find fulfillment here—in beautiful and meaningful ways—and we have the opportunity to offer that same feeling to others.

Through those connections, we are growing. We grow in faith and understanding. We grow in our ability to live out Jesus’ Way of Love. We grow as individuals, as families, and as a congregation. And we continue to ask what it means for St. John’s to grow into the community God is calling us to become.

And as we are enriched and grow, we are better equipped for serving. We serve one another in times of joy and difficulty. We serve our neighbors and our broader community. We seek ways to put our faith into action, responding to local, national, and international needs with compassion, generosity, and love.

Enriching. Growing. Serving. These are not things we accomplish once and check off a list. They are ongoing practices—a way of being together. We are always becoming, learning, giving, receiving, and discovering new ways to live out our faith.

Your financial support makes all of this possible. The annual stewardship campaign sustains our daily work and needs. Your generosity supports our staff salaries and day-to-day building needs, worship and music, adult formation and youth education, outreach and service, and the many opportunities—both visible and behind the scenes—that make our life together possible.

As we begin our 2027 pledge campaign, we invite you to prayerfully consider what St. John’s means to you and how you might participate in our shared work of enriching, growing, and serving. 

If you are already pledging to St. John’s, thank you. Your generosity is an essential part of our community. If you are able to increase your pledge this year, we invite you to consider doing so. And if you have never pledged before, we hope you will consider making a gift of any amount. Every pledge matters, and every person has a part in shaping the life of this community. And, while a capital campaign is also on our horizon in the new year, this stewardship campaign is critically important for sustaining our regular annual budget. Together, we are enriching one another’s lives, growing in faith and as a congregation, and serving one another and the world around us. And together, we are becoming more fully the people and community God calls us to be.
