We welcome your musical gifts at St. John’s. Consider participating in one or more of the following opportunities:

Children’s Choirs

September – May
Open to singers (Pre-K through 3rd grade) regardless of experience.

  • These choirs gather Wednesday evening. Pre-K and Kindergarteners practice in the Library from 6:00 – 6:30pm; 1st through 3rd graders practice from 6:30 – 7pm. Dinner is available from 5:30 – 6:45pm.

Chime Choir

September – May
Open to children and adults (4th grade and up) – regardless of experience.

  • This intergenerational group gathers on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 – 8:00pm. Dinner is available from 5:30 – 6:45pm.

Festival Choir

Open to singers 6th grade and up regardless of experience.

  • The Festival Choir prepares anthems for the principal Festivals of the Year – including All Saints Sunday, Christmas Eve, Palm Sunday/Easter Vigil/Easter Sunday, and Pentecost. The Festival Choir practices from 7:00–9:00pm on select Wednesdays prior to each Festival.

Service Musicians

September – May

Open to singers and/or instrumentalists interested in leading congregational song.

Open Mic

September – April

A performance/presentation opportunity – taking place from 7:00 – 8:00pm. This family-friendly event is hosted by various St. John’s luminaries on the FINAL Friday of select months (check event calendar to confirm). Everyone welcome, on either side of the mic.
