Bill Peterson is the Minister for Children, Youth, and Service at St. John’s.  A graduate of the University of Minnesota with degrees in philosophy (the first time) and English Education (the second time, after he couldn’t find work as a philosopher), and United Theological Seminary (because at some point finding work as a theologian seemed plausible), he is married, the father of two, and step-father of three.

He has been involved with religious and secular education for over 30 years. He is responsible for the children and youth as well as guiding both current and future outreach and social justice initiatives for all ages. Excited to be part of a community that is so vibrant, creative and healthy, he is especially passionate about service learning and intergenerational activities.
