An Update about St. John’s Finances and Stewardship Campaign
Thanks so much to those who have made their 2021 pledges! These have totaled $407,958 thus far. Our pledge base for 2020 was about $550,000, so we still have a long way to go. Please make your pledge here! If you prefer, you can email your pledge directly to Rachel. Because of not meeting in the St. John’s building, we have received significantly less than budgeted in non-pledged “loose plate” offerings. Among those who have pledged, some have generously offered more than last year; and some have generously continued to pledge even though you suffered financial setbacks, but weren’t able to offer as much as you could in 2020.
We want to courageously and joyfully continue to follow the Spirit’s leading—including increasing our wonderful new Children, Youth & Family Minister Heather Miller to full time; to continue to innovate and adapt in light of the pandemic; to deeply engage matters of racial healing and justice; and generously reach out to neighbors in need.
The sooner you can offer your pledge, the earlier our wonderful staff, clergy, and lay leaders can devote 100% of their energy to the worship, programs, justice and innovation that matter so much to us as a faith community. Thank you in advance for making your pledge today!
Faithfully,
Lisa Wiens Heinsohn, Rector
Allen Gooch, Senior Warden
Stacy Walters, Junior Warden
