Thank you for your interest in having a wedding at St. John’s Episcopal Church. Congratulations on your decision to get married – the next beautiful step in your love and commitment to each other!
This page has all the information you need to consider whether or not St. John’s might be a good place for you to have your wedding. To begin with, we see marriage as a sacrament of the church intended for all couples—same-sex, heterosexual, and non-binary folk–wishing to make the ancient vows the Church prescribes. Because we see a wedding as a Christian worship service, we have the following requirements:
St. John’s has a single comprehensive wedding fee that incorporates a clergy honorarium, music by the music director, altar guild, custodial, and other services. The fee is currently $750 for St. John’s members and $1,000 for non-members. Members are actively involved in the St. John’s community and have made a financial pledge or commitment to the church.
You can also book the Parish Hall for your reception and arrange for outside catering services. For more information about building rentals contact our Parish Administrator.
